Crafted by Stellum Spirits, an innovative offshoot of Barrell Craft Spirits, Stellum Black embraces a meticulous blending approach to create something greater than the sum of its parts. The bourbon marries high-rye and low-rye mash bills, allowing rich spice and smooth sweetness to coexist in perfect harmony.
Mash Bill: Blend of Indiana bourbon mash bills featuring a high-rye (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley) and a low-rye (approximately 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley), enhanced by reserve stocks from Kentucky and Tennessee.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Warm amber
Nose: Bursting waves of vanilla blossom, orange creamsicle, caramel corn, and mixed peppercorns. As it opens, notes of bright cedar and smoldering oak emerge.
