Grown in sun-drenched vineyards of the Southern Rhne on red clay and pebbled soils, the grapes are hand-harvested at dawn and fermented in stainless steel to preserve their natural brightness. The result is a well-balanced, expressive wine with notes of citrus and white flowersideal for seafood, salads, or sipping on its own.

Panicaut, means ‘sea holly’ in French, is inspired by a hardy plant that flourishes in challenging terrains, mirroring the sun-soaked, gravelly soils of the Southern Rhone. This plant, interspersed among the vines, enriches biodiversity and enhances the landscape’s beauty. Established in 1926, the winery in the picturesque medieval village of Srignan-du-Comtat in Vaucluse has seen winegrowers pour their soul into every bottle. The vineyards, set in the heart of the Southern Rhne, thrive on limestone soils blanketed with alluvium, benefitting from the Mediterranean’s warm, dry summers. The fierce Mistral wind, though often intense, safeguards the vines from dampness and typical fungal diseases, reducing the necessity for treatments. Their cultivation approach is thoughtful and minimizes the use of systemic agents. The region’s dry and windy conditions foster organic growth, with minimal intervention. The overall health of the vine is a testament to the favorable climate.
