The Nouveau is always a wine that suggests to us the innocence of young teenage love. That first time in a barn surrounded by a field of wild flowers. Innocent nubile fun!
Rmi and Laurence Dufaitre founded their namesake domaine in 2006, producing wines from the Brouilly and Cote de Brouilly crus in Beaujolais, tending their vines all organically. After studying with natural wine godfather Jules Chauvet, Dufaitre has taken a hands-off mentality in his cellar, creating fun, carbonically macerated red wines. Their Beaujolais Nouveau is juicy & fun, perfect for celebrating the Thanksgiving season. Serve chilled!
