Aztecali Reposado Mezcal is a premium artisanal spirit that embodies the rich cultural heritage of mezcal production in Mexico. Made from 100% organic agave that is grown and harvested in the sun-drenched hills of Oaxaca, this mezcal is carefully crafted using traditional methods passed down through generations of skilled mezcaleros.
After roasting the agave hearts in an earthen pit oven, the mezcal is crushed using a tahona, before being fermented and double-distilled in copper alembic stills. It is then aged in oak barrels for a minimum of six months, allowing the spirit to take on the rich, complex flavors and aromas of the wood.
The resulting spirit is a smooth and sophisticated mezcal with a distinct smoky flavor that is balanced by notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. Aztecali Reposado Mezcal is perfect for sipping neat or as the foundation for your favorite mezcal-based cocktails.
