Made from six distinct malted barley varieties and matured in a combination of virgin American and French oak casks, this single malt showcases a uniquely Australian terroir. The distillery employs cold-smoking techniques and the use of native Australian ingredients to create a whisky that balances traditional single malt qualities with a distinctly local character.
NOSE:
Sweet aromas of butterscotch, honey, and caramelized pears are immediately present, followed by hints of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and a subtle smokiness. Light citrus zest and floral notes provide a fresh, inviting complexity.
TASTE:
Rich and silky, with a smooth malt sweetness upfront, transitioning into flavors of milk chocolate, honeycomb, and dried tropical fruits. The mid-palate offers more depth with gentle spice (cinnamon, clove), along with toasted oak and a hint of earthy smokiness.
FINISH:
