Snappy rye spice, sweet wintergreen and ripe fruit on the nose with vanilla frosting and caramel in soft background balance. Fat and chewy on the palate with dark, stewed fruits, soft tannin and delicate oak spice to start before a slow fade into rye spice and mint. That blend of fruit and spice continues into a finish highlighted by a delicate grassy note and pronounced sweet plums and raisins with a long-lasting brown sugar fade. Perfectly balanced, as all ryes should be.
